RGarrison, A Strategic Risk Management Company truly understands the demands and flexible nature of residential construction work and has designed an 8-hour safety education and training course focusing on Cal/OSHA safety and health training standards and health regulations.

This intense 1-Day (8 hrs) course will give you the knowledge on the essential regulations required by Cal/OSHA in the Residential Construction Industry. Your price includes a booklet of the General Safety Education and Training Presentation, a Cal/OSHA Pocket Guide for the Construction Industry, a Pocket Card with details on how to Protect Yourself from Heat Illnesses, an 8 hour wallet card, a completion certificate, and one year free telephone support. *Note: This course was designed for Residential Homebuilders.

Part I: General Safety Education and Training – These are subjects that are required by regulations, standards, or good management practices (OSHA-Cal/OSHA-Injury and Illness Prevention Program; Safety Programs; General Safety Provisions; Environmental Health; Hazard Communications; Electrical; Fall Protection/Prevention; Fire Protection/Prevention; Material Handling/Storage; Motorized Vehicles; Personal Protective Equipment; Stairways and Ladders; Scaffolds; and Hand and Power Tools).

Part II: Job Safety Training – These are subjects for teaching workers about the hazards associated with a specific job, task, or operation. (Powder Actuated Tools; Respiratory Protection; Cranes and Rigging; Welding, Cutting, and Brazing; Concrete and Masonry; Cranes, Hoists, and Derricks; Excavations/Trenching; and Confined Space Entry).

Part III: Specialized Training – These are subjects needed for sustaining life due to an injury or illness and before emergency response personnel arrive. (CPR and First Aid).
