RGarrison, A Strategic Risk Management Company safety and health specialists are experienced, well-trained professionals whose goals are to ensure compliance with local, federal and state regulations and help employers and employees reduce on-the-job hazards and prevent injuries, illnesses, and deaths in the work place.

 

David F. Barragan, President

Prior to working at RGarrison, he was the West Coast Regional Safety Director for 7 Marine Corps Bases and stations throughout California and Arizona. He has evaluated and helped control a broad range of safety issues to employers and employees. In addition, Mr. Barragan was the pinnacle in the reduction of mishaps and the change of the safety culture. He oversaw safety awareness education and training for half-a-million military and civilian personnel. He is a certified OSH instructor, Safety and Health manager from University of California San Diego, additionally Mr. Barragan is certified through the American Society of Safety Engineers for Managing the Business Aspects of Safety and has a BS in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources management.

Roger Schechinger, Senior Vice President,
Senior Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (OSH)

Extensive background in Construction and General Industry safety field with over 22 years experience. Prior to working at RGarrison, he managed the safety department for one of the largest Divisions in the Marine Corps. He supervised the Inspection and Compliance branch for Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Ca. as well as all eight Marine Corps Installations for the western coast of California and was directly responsible for the inspections of over 8,000 facilities. He has been awarded numerous personal awards by the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy. He is certified as an Occupational Safety and Health Instructor for both General Industry and Construction Industry from the University of California, San Diego, and Certified through the National Safety Council. Manages multi - billion dollar projects dealing with Owner controlled Insurance programs (OCIP).

Ralph Medina, Vice President, Construction Safety,
Senior Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (OSH)

Possess over 20 years of Construction and General Industry safety experience. Prior to joining RGarrison, he was the Safety Director for the SASSY distribution center, South West Regional U.S. and directly responsible for health and safety of over 230 personnel and 600,000 sq ft of warehousing and distribution activities. Since joining RGarrison Ralph has conducted commercial and residential construction safety assessments, training personnel, and providing effective job hazard analysis to a client base in excess of 496 million dollars. He is certified as an Occupational Safety and Health Instructor for both General Industry and Construction Industry from the University of California San Diego.

Bradley A. Prill, CIH, CSP

Bradley Prill founded Industrial Safety Professional Incorporated after nineteen years of experience in project management, administration, training, and hands-on field service for all facets of Industrial and Environmental Health, Hygiene and Safety. Mr. Prill graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master Degree in Industrial Safety with an emphasis on Industrial Hygiene. After completing his formal education he became certified as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. In addition he is certified by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) as a Certified Safety Professional. He is a member in good standings of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Mr. Prill has been trained and certified by the World Dog Organization as a K-9 Handler for mold detection dogs and is the sole handler of the ISPI Mold Detection Dog, Agent 99.

Victor Lamb, CHST

Victor Lamb founded Lamb’s Environmental, Health. and Safety Consulting Incorporation in 2009, after 15 years of EHS management and hands-on experience in the General Industry and Construction fields. Mr. Lamb holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems, with an emphasis on Occupational Safety and Health from North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University; an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance, with an emphasis on Occupational Safety, and Certificates in Robotics, Programmable Logic Controls, and General Industrial Mechanics from Alamance Community Collage. Mr. Lamb is currently studying for his graduate degree in Occupational Safety/Security/Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Mr. Lamb is certified as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) by the Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologists, joint venture of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals; as a Health and Safety Instructor by the American Red Cross; and is an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. He is a Professional Member in good standing with the American Society of Safety Engineers and is currently studying for the Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Derrick Johnson, Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (OSH)

Derrick Johnson is a Safety Manager at RGarrison Strategic Risk Management and has over 15 years of experience in safety, workers compensation/loss control, and training/development. Derrick Johnson received an A.S. degree in Safety and Environmental Health Management from Cuyumaca Community College. He serves a member on the EHSM Advisory Committee includes: management and supervisors spanning a broad spectrum of industries: aerospace, bioscience, construction, Department of Defense, general industry, manufacturing, regulatory agencies, and shipyards. He is currently, studying for his B.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, Alabama and his CHST certification. Mr. Johnson is currently, working on the County of San Diego two-phase redevelopment campus project which began in early march 2009. Phase I consists of two 150,000 square foot office buildings, including a new planning and permitting center, new administrative offices, and a seven-level parking structure. Two more 150,000 square foot office buildings, plus a conference center and cafeteria will begin in early January 2011. Phase II will consists of two more 150,000 square foot buildings and an additional seven-level parking structure. Project completion is set for 2015.

Russell E. Rowland, CSP, ARM

Mr. Rowland graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, with an emphasis on Industrial Safety. Upon entering the Safety/ Risk Management/ Loss Control industry, Mr. Rowland began his studies to become a Certified Safety Professional, receiving the designation in 1986. Mr. Rowland also holds a designation as an Associate in Risk Management and is a Professional member of the Sacramento Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Mr. Rowland has over 31 years of consulting experience in commercial & industrial construction, heavy manufacturing, warehousing, ship building & repair, stevedoring, mining & tunneling and claims management practices. Experienced in developing & implementing site specific fall protection plans, ventilation plans, confined space testing, fire & hole watch duties and developing a safety culture that runs throughout the entire organization and OSHA abatement.



RGarrison, A Strategic Risk Management Company has a myriad of certified Industrial Hygienist’s, with more than 20 years of experience in the field of industrial hygiene. They have extensive experience in the areas of worker exposure assessments, indoor air quality investigations, and hazard materials management.
